About Shillong Teer Archery
Shillong Teer is an archery-based lottery game played in Shillong, Meghalaya. The daily event is organized by the Khasi Hills Archery Sports Association. It operates under the regulations of the Meghalaya Amusement and Betting Tax Act, making it a legal gaming activity in the state.
The outcome of the game is determined by the performance of local archers. Fifty archers shoot a set number of arrows at a straw target. The winning numbers correspond directly to the last two digits of the total arrows successfully hit on target during each of the two rounds.
